project aims to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues through the captivating medium of cyanotype prints. By highlighting the detrimental impact of rising sea levels, deforestation, and the plastic crisis, we seek to inspire change and encourage sustainable development practices.
The project revolves around creating a series of cyanotype prints, a photographic printing process that uses sunlight to expose images onto specially coated paper. This unique technique will enable us to visually represent the environmental crisis and its consequences in a thought-provoking and engaging manner.
The project focuses on four key environmental issues: rising sea levels, deforestation, the plastic crisis, and rewilding. Each issue will be approached separately, with a dedicated section or series of prints for each, allowing for a comprehensive exploration of the topic.
